Im using a DCA bot, any recommendations for the settings? (Reddit Bitcoin)

I’m thinking of just having a large initial buy-in now, and then every time the price drops by 1% I’ll buy an order going down 0.5x.

I’m aiming more for holding hence why I’m only buying smaller amounts as the price goes down, I’m gonna keep adding money to this bot as my paycheck comes in. Any recommendations for settings for it? I’m thinking of using a leverage for it, perhaps just 2-3x at max
