When do I need to report taxes? (Reddit Bitcoin)

For the past 3 years I’ve been using coin ledger or another like website to pull all my transactions & generate a form to turn into my accountant. I hardly have to do this with stocks as I rarely sell & I understand the taxable event only happens once the sale occurs. I know crypto has different rules, like converting one crypto to another is considered a taxable event, or at least is has been that way. Since 2021 when I lost everything on voyager I’ve been stacking consistently on my hardware wallet. I did dabble in alt coins for a little while & then just decided to convert them to BTC & transfer to CS. Is there anything that is taxable in this scenario? Just the conversions?
