Bitcoin is digital scarcity (Reddit Bitcoin)

Everything that is purely digital, is by nature, not scarce. Except Bitcoin.

Entire movies, albums, code bases, anything that is 100% digital can be copied infinitely. Sent around the world. It makes it very difficult to charge money for these digital assets without enforcement. We live in an age where copyright laws are pointless except for the largest companies. Anything put on the internet will be used to train AI. Copied a thousand times over, and the original owner can do nothing about it.

This is where Bitcoin is an exception. Bitcoin is distributed, digital scarcity. Nothing more. But it doesn’t need to be anything more.
