When talking about any commodity, they say, “the cure for high prices is high prices”. For example, when oil prices rise, people will drill for more oil, increasing supply and bringing prices back down. This isn’t true for bitcoin because it has a fixed mining schedule. We can’t make more bitcoin beyond its set protocol. In fact, when speaking about bitcoin, we can say the opposite… “the cure for low prices is low prices”, because when BTC price drops, it’s gets bought by HODLers, then price goes up.
